Welcome to Nursery!
Our Nursery children are taught by Mrs Haley.
Miss Skinner is our Nursery Nurse, Miss Brown and Mrs Mavis work with our two year olds.
At New Pasture Lane Primary School, the Nursery provision for 2 to 4-year-olds is intentionally designed to reflect our school vision: to enable every child to shine through an exciting, inclusive, and challenging curriculum. The curriculum is underpinned by four key drivers that run as golden threads through the whole school curriculum. The curriculum drivers shape our intent to develop the whole child at New Pasture Lane Primary School. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework guides the curriculum content, focusing on the three prime areas (Communication and Language, Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development) and four specific areas (Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Expressive Arts and Design). This ensures a broad, balanced, and progressive curriculum that meets the diverse needs of our children, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, and lays strong foundations for lifelong learning and future success.
