 In Year 4, your child will continue to grow as a confident reader, writer, and speaker. Every day, children enjoy story time where teachers read a wide variety of books—from exciting stories and poems to interesting facts—helping them develop a love of reading. They learn to understand and talk about what they read, building their vocabulary and communication skills. Writing lessons focus on helping children express their ideas clearly and accurately, using new words and sentence structures. We also encourage children to take part in discussions, presentations, and drama activities to boost their confidence in speaking. Our afternoons are full of engaging curriculum lessons that that focus on learning key knowledge and skills.
